Character
Name: Tseng of the Turks
Canon: Final Fantasy VII
Canon Point/Location: Current time point, post ACC. Starting in Edge.
Permissions: Nah, just don't be a dick.
Age: Uh.......... 35? Or thereabouts.
History: One of the deadliest men you will ever meet.
Personality: Tseng is generally a very stern man. His cold, determined demeanor make him hard to read, and most who only know him in passing think of him only as a ruthless taskmaster. Those who are lucky enough to know him, or have known him for a while, realize that isn't true. Beneath his closed off exterior is a deeply loyal and caring man. He would do anything for his Turks and the President, as well as the very few people he's come to care for outside of his work family. Aerith and Zack especially hold a special place with him, and Tseng has bent and ignored orders for the two of them a multitude of times in the past, though he feels the need to be subversive about it so he isn't seen playing favorites or giving any leeway.
Tseng's image is important to him. He prefers he never be seen as soft, and as far as his past goes all the better if no one ever knows anything beyond the fact that he's Wutaian. Any relationships he gets involved in are secret and kept from the public eye, and even his Turks may have a hard time spotting Tseng softening around the edges. He wasn't always so stiff, of course, but recent events have caused him to raise his levels of vigilance and let less through the cracks. The loss of Zack and then Aerith were particularly hard on him, and caused him to close off in a more real way than he had previously.
When Tseng was younger, he believed everything should be done by the book, and with every action there should be an equal reaction. Time and experience have shown him the errors in this way of thinking, but he still follows a strict code which he bends only for those in his self-made "family", though no one will ever hear him call them that aloud. Those he holds dear, however, he would gladly and without hesitation give everything for, including his life. His Turks are always under his protection, he goes above and beyond in his duty to keep Rufus safe, and had he been able to do something for Aerith and Zack he would have given whatever it took to keep them safe and alive.
That's not to say that Tseng is soft. One does not become the director of the Turks simply by caring a lot. When it comes to business, Tseng is ruthless. He is one of the best at interrogation and torture, and has deadly accurate aim that he isn't afraid to utilize. When it's time to be a Turk, Tseng is the best, hands down.
Anything else: BC should come to America because I wanna play it. That's really important.
